Then, you would proceed with simplifying the square root of 900. Try taking the square root of 900...it is perfect! The square root of 900 is 30. So, your final answer would be 30 x 8 = 240.

When you multiplied the 4 and 2, you were correct. Instead of adding the radicands together, you need to multiply them - so instead of getting 100, you would get 10 x 90 = 900.

i multiplied the 4 and 2 and got 8. then i added the radicands together and got 100. and divided by 2 to get 50 and put the line under 49 and divided again but by 4 and got 25. 25 is a perfect square , then i put 25 first under the square root and then 4. and continued with 8 times 5 is 40 and you are left with the square root of 2.

For the first, I'd put it in either a savings account or checking account. It would be good for this because if I needed it fast, also, it's not that much.

For the second, a checking account so I could have it if I really need it, but wont nessissrareley spend it.

For the third, I'd open a CD. I know that if I can put aside $1000 once I wont have trouble not touching it for 10-20 years.

For the forth, I'd say a money market would be good. And also, it would ready to them, and still have a higher interest.

1. I would probably spend my $100 on something that I really want, or I would put it in my savings account for a later spending date.
2. If I had $500 dollars left over I would probably put it in a savings account so that I don't spend it in one place.
3. I would put my $1000 in a CD so because I know its safe and it would be hard for me to get to. If I spent it then it would be hard to make $1000 again.
4.A safe way to keep $5000 would be to put it in a CD because then you know its safe and would be hard for you to spend and waste away. It would just be a good idea to save $5000. You never know when your gonna really need it.

I would put my money in a money market account because I would still be able to spend it, but not all at one time.

Rodrigo's response:
100 dollars i woudl probably spend it and buy some cool stuff! Maybe buy some gas with it and pay off some insurance. i would maybe buy some socks adn a few shirts too. if i did not want to buy anything or pay for any gas i would most likely open up a bank account with it. but i would wait till i had more money to do it maybe like 20 bucks more so that i could put in like $120 so that it would give me a little breathing room if i spent a little bit of it.
