#1. Big whole numbers
Example: 304,002,032 “three hundred four million, two thousand, thirty-two”
Example: 29,405 “twenty-nine thousand, four hundred five”
Write out a number and have your child read it back to you! Fourth graders are working up to the millions. If you want to go bigger, go for it!

#2. Decimals to the hundredths
Example: 4.15 “four and fifteen hundredths”
Example: 20.3 “twenty and three tenths”
Example: 0.05 “five hundredths”
Write out a number up to the hundredths place and have your child read it back to you.
